11" x 14" Oil on Canvas Board. This was an oil study and experiment. Weetamoe was a 1930 yacht of the J Class built as a contender for the New York Yacht Club's defence of the 1930 America's Cup. Waubonsie Creek Trail

Waubonsie Creek (sometimes spelled as Waubonsee) runs behind the hospital where I used to work as a programmer. At times when I needed to clear my mind, revisit a programming problem I would take a walk on the path by the creek, picking mulberries, bothering Great Blue Herons during their fishing until they protested and flew off.
